FUNdamental Tennis offers different options for training. Please see the list below for more information regarding Camps, Clinics and Private Lessons.

CAMPS

Campers from beginners through intermediate levels will be grouped by ability. The USTA 10 and under guidelines will be used implemented (60’ and 78’ courts and red/orange/green dot balls). Emphasis will be on stroke development, consistency, placement, depth, spins, and footwork. Campers will learn rules, positioning, strategy and tactics that will be demonstrated and applied through drills and match situations. Learning is made fun by playing the games at all levels.

CLINICS

Using smaller courts, slower and lower pressured balls, and shorter rackets make the game easier. Children will have more fun by being able to rally right from the start. The more they play, the faster they will learn. Players will learn basic tennis skills, including ball and racket handling skills, footwork, grip technique, and basic understanding of stroke shape (i.e. loop, contact, finish). We will cover ground strokes forehand and backhand, volleys, serves, and how to keep score. We will play a lot of fun games along the way!
